Founded in 2019, Mateen Khan Melgari is a proud Afghan company dedicated to exporting dry fruits, agricultural products, and minerals to international markets. Originally established under the name Zaland Mushtari, we have grown into a leading exporter known for integrity, reliability, and world-class quality.

Our early operations focused on the export of onions and hing (asafoetida) to neighboring regions. Building upon that foundation, we recently achieved significant success by exporting over 100 tons of premium dried figs to global destinations. These figs were directly sourced from Afghan farmers, ensuring authentic taste and freshness. Each product was carefully cleaned, packed, and sealed according to international standards before being shipped through our trusted cargo partners with whom we maintain long-term contracts for global delivery. In addition to dry fruits, our company has also demonstrated its growing export capacity in the mineral sector. We have successfully exported over 10,000 tons of coal to Pakistan within a few months — a milestone that highlights both our logistical strength and our commitment to expanding Afghanistan’s export potential. Our team ensures all exports comply with international trade standards, including the SAFTA (South Asian Free Trade Area) agreement, which enables reduced duties and smoother customs clearance for our South Asian clients.
